We've got tons of new stock coming in these days. From bikes to armor, lights, clothing and everything in between. It's my favorite time of year. That time when we begin to see first hand, the stuff we've been reading about all winter long. As spring is fast approaching we're gearing up... literally!

Here's a few cool products that I think will be a big hit this season...

GoPro LCD Bacpac - In my opinion, the one drawback of the GoPro HD cams has been the fact that it doesn't have an LCD screen for playback - Well, not anymore! The new LCD Bacpac acts as a removable LCD screen for your GoPro HD cameras. It provides instant playback (incl. fast forward/rewind) and much easier visual control of your GoPro HD camera.

This nifty kit comes complete with built in speakers, volume control and a variety of new backdoor housings to fit your needs. At $150, these will be the number one upgrade for your GoPro camera's this summer.

2011 Giant Defy Series - These bikes are a great starter road bike. If you're thinking of getting into events such as the UBC Tri, Ride to Conquer Cancer, or the Gran Fondo this line would be an excellent choice. We don't all ride like Lance, and the slightly more relaxed fit of these bikes can be perfect for the more casual road rider. 

$959 for the Defy 3 - Full Sora kit with triple crankset and carbon fork.

$1229 for the Defy 2 - Full Tiagra setup with triple crankset and carbon fork / seat post.

$1499 for the Defy 1 - 105 components with compact double crankset and carbon fork / seat post. 

$1959 for the Defy 0 - Ultegra components with compact double crankset and carbon fork / seat post.

 

Specialized Touring/Commuter Shoes - The experts at specialized have put together some great on/off the bike shoes. Versatility in a touring/commuter shoe is important, and the Tahoe series by Specialized is an excellent option. Walkability, comfort, and durability are key characteristics and they're available in both mens and womens versions.

So that's just a little preview of some quality products you'll see around the stores. A great mix of ingenuity, technological advances, and versatility. If these are a sign of things to come it's gonna be a great summer for new cycling products!
