Rocky Mountain Bicycles and Different Bikes have teamed up to become a key 2009 sponsor of the North Shore Mountain Bike Association .
Different Bikes and Rocky Mountain together wanted to increase our regular support for the great work of the NSMBA and approached the team there with some ideas on how we could do that.
After some discussions, we were ready to launch a new type of sponsorship that provides both direct rewards for NSMBA members all season, as well as a source of funding for NSMBA’s efforts on the trails.
Together RMB and DB have donated a brand new 2009 Rocky Mountain Altitude 70 mountain bike to the NSMBA. (retail value $4000!)
- This bike will be available to all paid-up 2009 NSMBA members to sign out for rides.
- Different Bikes is housing the bike in our North Vancouver location and is providing all regular maintenance to it at no cost.
- We’ll also provide any required replacement parts or repairs at significant discounts.
- At the end of the season, NSMBA will use the bike as either a volunteer reward or will auction off as a fundraiser.
