DB Burnaby

Near the end of last season Will, Mike and myself hopped on a ferry and spent the day playing on the Sunshine Coast. It was awesome to be able to get out for the day. If you haven’t had a chance to ride over there, do yourself a favor and add it as a destination for your summer!

 

The ride starts off with a 15 minute grind up the bypass and that is the last time you will see a paved road until you return to the ferry. From there you are on single track until you decide to turn around. 

 

Our ride took a total of 6 hours from ferry to ferry, and was certainly a great way to wind down the season. 

Here’s a video featuring parts of the ride. This was the first time we have utilized the GoPro and a valuable lesson was learned: Mounting on a handlebar leads to a VERY bumpy video. It was also fairly dark that day, so the output of the camera is not as strong as it can be. Future videos will be better!
